Jesus I Trust in YOU!! Posted by Hello
On Character and Success:
The success of a man or woman alas does not depend on the wealth they accumulate, the position they hold, the fame or loftiness of their life but rather on their character. The character of a man or woman is determined by the degree to which they respond to Truth in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. Regardless of wealth or fame if character is lacking then so too is success. To the degree that one stands firm for Truth regardless of the consequences or the cost is the degree of character and ultimately success is gained or lost. To be exposed to Truth which ultimately comes from God and reject it in order to avoid loss is the greatest failure of any person. We face a time when praise is given to the politically correct and those who are only pop icons for a passing moment. Faith without works is dead and so is achievement without character and character without Truth and Love from God. I would rather suffer much for a morsel of The Truth of Christ than to gain the riches of Midas for the emptiness of worldly success. Light begets Light and Truth begets Truth and both come with freedom and the burden to then live by and stand firm in that Light and Truth. Success and Character are measured in the soul and his or her response to His Truth and Love and never in the measurement of society. We stand at the very edge of eternity when we need real Men and real Women of Character and Faith not mindless robots of opinion.
