Praised be Jesus Christ!! Now and Forever!!
For a while now I have been trying to figure things out concerning my own spiritual journey and gain a bit of understanding. The process began with the initial conversion and like I stated in the last posting does not, or should not ever, quite until we finally can caste off this mortal shell and rejoice in God's Presence in eternity. I don't know exactly if it is proper so I will not say at what stage I am at, that needs to be between God, my Spiritual Director and I. But I can say that if you read through St. John of the Cross and St. Theresa of Avila thoroughly and then look at some of the different compressed and simpler to read versions on the spiritual life at EWTN then you can gain some understanding what may be occurring or not in your journey towards to peak of Carmel. I have a long ways to go but I can see especially in the writings of the masters of where I have been and where I am at now. Kind of sounds like a riddle I know but you need to enter your own journey and press on. I have such a ways to travel.....We all do. It is kind of scary to think of what may be ahead in this journey but now more that ever I must put into better practice what I ask you all to do...Place all your Trust in Our Lord Jesus Christ.
I think until I further understand and also until after I meet with my spiritual director I should not post anymore about the particulars of my journey to so as to avoid a false pride. I will post the normal stuff and try to do it a bit more regularly but avoid this particular topic for a while. Remember me and my intentions in your prayers. Please remember a few special intentions which I offer up to Our Merciful Savior. Our Lord is used to hearing from me so He will know what those are. Finally, please remember two friends of mine one who lost a family member and the other who is facing Hurricane Rita right now as I type this. I assure them both of my continual prayers before the Throne of Mercy and Grace.
Omnia Pro Iesu Per Mariam!!
