Today is the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and it is a wonderful opportunity to make the Stations of the Cross and unite ourselves with Our Lord's Passion. I encourage you all whether at home or if you can go into a Church today to make the Stations and pray some extra prayers and unite your heart, mind and soul to the Holy Cross of Jesus Christ. Several links are availible here and here and here and here and here which have various versions of meditations of the Stations of the Cross. The best way to celebrate this day is to go to Holy Mass and Confession also if you can. You can also go visit Our Lord Himself and thank Him as He is waiting for you in the Most Holy Eucharist. You can also pray the Chaplet of The Divine Mercy at 3pm, The Great Hour of Mercy, for your intentions and for those in your life in honor of Our Lord's Cross and Passion. Just don't let this opportunity to especially thank God pass by today without some special rememberance.
The Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest sign of God's Merciful Love for each of us. Today the imfamous words from St. John's Gospel which so many Christians throughout the world will be proclaimed. Let us rejoice everytime we gaze upon the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ and know of God's Love for us.
Omnia Pro Iesu Per Mariam!!

"Jesus said to Nicodemus:
'No one has gone up to heaven
except the one who has come down from heaven, the Son of Man.
And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert,
so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.'

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him might not perish
but might have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world might be saved through him."
