Praised be Jesus Christ!! Now and Forever!!
I was starting to feel a bit sorry for myself and then I got a email which put things into perspective for me. So, my pitty party is over with- did not last that long anyway since I was the only one to show up.
Our Lord Jesus Christ is waiting for us all as the Divine Physician to heal our wounds and brokenness and draw us into His Merciful Love. We have only to call out. These are times of tremendous suffering and darkness but they are times of unbelievable Mercy and Grace. The worst off that we are either from suffering or sin the more God who is rich in Mercy can work the greatest miracles if we just stop and pray and place our trust in Him. At the moment that I have been at the end of my rope and thought I needed to give up but instead surrendered to the Divine Mercy and prayed things slowly began to change. I would not be alive today if it had not been for the Divine Mercy- who is Our Lord Jesus Christ. His Love can accomplish anything within the soul who trusts. No matter how dark things may be individually or as a society God's Mercy can transform darkness into wonderful light. It takes prayer and it takes us letting go and allowing Christ to heal us and wipe away the tears. Our Lord Jesus is the Merciful Savior and He also wants to be our best friend. A friend who stands with us in trial and in joy and a friend who comes to our rescue without fail. I know this not because of books or what others have told me but I know this because of what He has done for me.
The pity party for myself is over it is time to wake up the world and proclaim the Divine Mercy.
I know this may sound odd but I am joyful that we live in the time we do and having a idea of what is coming up because we get to be witnesses in the true sense of the word for God's Merciful Love. We don't need to be anxious but rather rejoice for regardless of what the days and weeks ahead may or may not hold if our souls rest in Christ all is well. Thanks be to God for His Mercy and Love never fails.
To the person who wrote to me know you are in my prayers and I offer this link to Salvific Doloris which helped me in days of great sorrow. May Christ's Peace be with you all.
