Praised be Jesus Christ!! Now and Forever!!
I was at a parish I had never been to before recently and during the homily the priest referred to God as a loving mother. Now the prayers for the Mass were all following the GIRM and Redemptionis Sacramentum and I kind of understand what the priest was trying to say but the way it was said really could have been taken to an extreme which is done so regularly by the so called ' enlightened' far left leaning ones (ie: those in dissent). I am not going to mention the parish or the priest since that would be more of an attack and that is something I would not want to ever do. It was not mine, I was a visitor and for that I am so eternally grateful. I think that we all be we in Holy Orders or in the lay life need to be especially careful to keep watch else we cause others to slip into error even if we don't intend to do so. That priest was trying to help others grasp some theological issues but the way it came off it was not so good- I feel. I am trying to walk a fine line here and still proclaim Truth with Charity and not come off as attacking a priest or a parish- which would be a grave sin for me or anyone.
Our Lord Jesus Christ told us all to call God Our Father. Now as faithful Christians we must believe what He said. Christ Our Lord who is the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity is incapable of mistakes or error. If we believe what we profess every Sunday at Mass or in every Holy Rosary or Chaplet of Divine Mercy then we have a Heavenly Father who loves us. I think to confuse the people with error is a pretty grave injustice to God and to our neighbor. With all the stuff going on in the world and in our own lives the last thing we need to do is to cloud up things even more by either rejecting Truth or leading others into rejection or error.
I honestly believe the best way to prevent error and heresy is
good solid catachisis of all the people. Oh, guess what we have a definitive source: it is called the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Maybe what we need is to give a few pages a week in the parish bulletins across the entire Church to help root out the errors and feed the people what they need not what we think they want.
Anyway that is my rant of the day.
Omnia Pro Iesu Per Mariam!!

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
