Praised be Jesus Christ!! Now and Forever!!
I have been thinking and praying quite a bit lately of the call that Our Merciful Father extends to each of us. Regardless of our state in life and regardless of our past failings God calls us to be great saints. It does not matter if you are a child or an adult - God calls you. It does not matter if you are the leader of a country or of a companies -God calls you. It does not matter if you are a college student or a college drop out -God calls you. Whether you are living as a parent or you are living in prison God calls you. It does not matter if the world has turned it's back on you, if your family has rejected you because of your failings or mistakes -God calls you. It does not matter if you have done terrible things in the past for God calls you. God calls you to His Mercy. God calls you to His Love. God calls you to His Truth. You have within you the potential to be a great saint through God's Infinite Love and Mercy. You may think what can God do with me how can I make a difference? God's Mercy and Love is far greater than anything you may have done if you cry out to Him and repent.

In the times we face we are each called to heroic virtue in Christ Jesus. Today the Church throughout the world celebrates the Holy Saints of God throughout all the ages that answered that call with a resounding YES. If you look at the lives of these holy women and men of God and you see people of every race and tongue who despite their brokenness and flaws responded to God, repented and answered His Call to recognize the dignity each one had (that each of us have) as children of God through Christ Our Lord. Some lived out their lives from an early age in heroic virtue- ie. St. Maria Goretti. Some rebelled and lived pretty bad lives until they finally repented and answered Christ's call- Bl. Bartolo Longo, St. Augustine and even St. Paul. The simple fact is that Our Lord calls us all to recognize the dignity he gives us if we just begin to respond to His call. Regardless of our state in life, regardless of how bad we have been in the past, regardless of our age or where we live we are called to become great Saints if we just repent, pray for Mercy and answer the call of Christ today. The call of Christ goes to prisons, to schools, to universities, to parents and grandparents, to men- women and children of every race and tongue. The call of Christ goes to the rich and the poor alike we have just to repent, pray and respond to His Merciful Call. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to look back on this Solemnity of All Saints one day and know that on this day you too began your journey towards the heaven. So, I pray that this day that all the Saints in heaven will intercede for each of us and assist us in modeling them in responding to the call of Our Merciful Savior Jesus Christ. All you Holy Saints in heaven pray for us and lead us all to Christ Our Lord through the Immaculate Heart of Mary- the Queen of All Saints.
Omnia Pro Iesu Per Mariam!!
