"....Have Mercy on us and on the whole world!"

+JMJPT+

Praised be Jesus Christ!! Now and Forever!!

I have just a few minutes to blog. I just came in from Adoration and normally I would not blog right now- sleep a bit instead. I did not want my last posting for a several hours to be about some stupid thing. Two quick ideas then I am done for a few hours.
1. In relation to the last posting. I think if I wanted a face to be transplanted it would be the Holy Face of Jesus Christ on my soul and mind. To radiate Our Lord's Love and Mercy to the world would and is the prayer I take with me. To be more like The One who takes away the sins of the world. To be more like The One who is the Eternal Truth. To be more like Our Lord Jesus Christ and less and less like the sinner I am. To radiate His Love so much that people are not drawn to me but to Our Lord whom I love, serve and worship. Yes, that would be the interior Face I would want to transplant on my mind and soul.
2. I thought on the way home as the snow fell about why it bothered me to leave a dumb posting up as the last posting for even a few hours. I think it is the same reason that I have trouble going to sleep unless I spend some solid time in prayer and meditation on the Word of God. It is also why I do not want to begin my day until even if for a short moment I reflect on Our Lord and pray. The first thing I want to think about when I first arise and the last thing before I fall asleep is Christ Our Lord. We (I) do not know what the day ahead or the night ahead shall bring but if our hearts rest in Christ then regardless of 'the terrors of the night or the arrows by day' we stand firm. What if we (I) applied the same logic in regards to a hasty posting to Holy Mass. What if we treated every Mass as our first and last. I wonder if we would be so distracted or leave so quickly after. I wonder if we would not savor every moment even more. That is what I believe we have to do be it with prayer, reading Sacred Scripture or better participating in Mass- we have to savor each moment with the God of Love, Mercy and Truth.
May all of our moments with Our Merciful Lord be like our first and last and may we all bear the image of the Holy Face of Jesus Christ in our souls and minds always.
Omnia Pro Iesu Per Mariam!!
