God come to my assistance. Lord make haste to help me.

Praised be Jesus Christ!! Now and Forever!!
I have to confess I have not been a faithful blogger lately. Will try better to remedy that.
I have found in the spiritual life that yes there are very wonderful moments of great consolation and grace and mercy there are also times of struggle. No one ever said it was easy but it is always worth the effort for Our Lord Jesus Christ. For me even in the course of a average day there are times of great grace and times of finding the words or the perseverance to pray. I am reminded of the words of a priest and friend who told me once that it is at the moments that we pray even despite the effort and at the time the seemingly unfruitfulness of prayer that the greatest seeds of faith are more firmly rooted. I think, that the times of greatest potential in moving forward and up the holy mountain of God are in those times when we pray during struggles and remain faithful in constant regular prayer. I think about the deposits in a bank and those little regular savings sacrifices and how added up and compounded with interest bear greater rewards in the long run. Maybe I am wrong and I freely admit that but I think that God rewards with even greater 'interest' the daily regular deposits of prayer to Him when we struggle to pray the most. Maybe the key is regular fidelity span over time that produces in the long run the greatest fruits.
Sometimes it helps me to know that I am not the only person who has ever struggled to get out that regular deposit of praise and thanksgiving and even intercession. That is why I turn to the saints who have gone on before and look at their lives. That is also why I want as best as I can to try to show to you a bit of the struggles so you too may draw courage and hope to press on to the mark. My greatest strength is my weakness turned to Christ so that He may take over and work the real miracles. Alone all I can do is fall but in Christ the weakeness become His strength to proclaim His Love and Mercy. You are not alone and neither am I - we have only to say "Jesus I trust in You". The little daily fiats of love become the big and lasting fiat on life in time.
There is a song that I enjoy from days of old which I will leave a few lines which better give the message of his posting. A link to the artist's site is provided with the lines of the song. Today we just have to hold on and trust in Christ we don't need to worry about the next day just hold on to the Mercy of God today and pray.
Omnia Pro Iesu Per Mariam!!

......
"Don't you recall what you felt
When you weren't alone
Someone who stood by your side
A face you have known
Where do you run when it's too much to bear
Who do you turn to in need
When nobody's there

Hold on, Baby Hold on
'Cause it's closer than you think
And you're standing on the brink
Hold on, Baby Hold on
'Cause there's something on the way
Your tomorrow's not the same as today

Outside your door He is waiting
Waiting for you
Sooner or later you know
He's got to get through
No hesitation and no holding back
Let it all go and you'll know
You're on the right track "
